Christ the King as you may not know, was established over 100 years ago and is an historic anchor building to downtown Sudbury.   As one of the largest English speaking Catholic Church’s in Northern Ontario, we also have a large catchment area of approximately 17,000 people who we are called to serve and support.  

 Our iconic Church has graced the downtown and welcomed literally thousands of Sudburians over this history and helped our citizens celebrate both the happiest and saddest times of their lives.   We are nestled in an area of Sudbury that is less affluent but have the distinct pleasure of attracting newcomers to Sudbury who arrive here from many countries of the world.

Our front stairs are in desperate need of a restoration and we thank you for considering a donation to the capital campaign which will help us to restore the stairs so we can continue to welcome all to the Church.
