This holiday season, we are launching the Aspiring Young Dancer Campaign to raise $25,000 in support of The Citadel Dance Program – a program that provides weekly ballet and tap classes (new!) to children and youth living in Regent Park and the surrounding area. This year, we ask you to consider helping us continue to bring the joy of dance to children in our community. 

Currently, 58 bright young students are enrolled in our program, with 90% proudly supported by scholarship. As a primarily scholarship-based program, a relatively small gift can make an enormous difference. A gift of just $150 funds the training of one our youngest students for an entire semester and opens the door to a world of dance – a door that might otherwise remain closed.  

Many people and elements go into running The Citadel Dance Program. From our amazing teaching staff, to our lovely CDP administrative assistant, to the distribution of free dancewear and shoes, to our bi-annual recitals, resources are needed for all aspects of the program to keep it running smoothly. 

As we head into 2020, please consider making a contribution to a program that empowers youth through the gift of dance. Even a small amount can make a lasting impact.
