The Collingwood Music Festival showcases live music performances of internationally-renowned artists each summer.
The Collingwood Music Festival is an annual, family-friendly, classical music festival that brings high-calibre, live music performances to Collingwood, Ontario. The Festival presents over 100 internationally-renowned performing artists each summer, at the acoustically-sound, multimedia-equipped, 485-seat auditorium of First Presbyterian Church, Collingwood.
The program consists of a power-packed week of highly engaging and memorable, performing arts experiences in the fields of classical and world music genres. These concerts vary from intimate chamber music recitals to full orchestral concerts, including two specially-curated world music ensembles. The Festival also introduces youth-specific events in the form of FREE outreach concerts with multimedia presentation and recital opportunities for local Ontario-based music talents.
The Collingwood Summer Music Festival targets the large summer tourist population of the Southern Georgian Bay area, expanding its musical offerings and enhancing the quality of its cultural life, as well as visitors from outside the region including the Greater Toronto Area, which is located less than 200 km away.
