Last year we met our goal, and received just over $10,000 in donations to launch this fund. We are challenging you to help us match this, and bring this fund to $20,000 by the end of 2019! 

This fund fosters environmental stewardship and sustainability by supporting environmental education through the Columbia Basin Environmental Education Network (CBEEN), a registered charity supporting environmental learning in the local region.

CBEEN understands that environmental education (EE) is a long-term investment in the general health and well-being of individuals, communities, ecosystems and the planet. Our goal in establishing the Environmental Education Endowment Fund is to be able to support environmental education in perpetuity.

The Columbia Valley Community Foundation, which holds the Environmental Education Endowment Fund in trust for CBEEN, will invest the income to provide an annual return that we can count on forever. All donors will receive a charitable receipt.
