The DAQ Community, a non-profit charitable organization (NPO), brings together professionals, experts and members of the Québec community who are interested in animal law in Québec, in particular the application of the BÊSA Law.Our leaders, members and participants, include  jurists, including lawyers, law students, paralegals as well as veterinarians, behaviorists, animal inspectors and ethologists, university professors, teachers. and experts in fields such as cognitive science, ethics and the environment.Our legal and community interventions aim to protect and defend animal beings in Québec, including those that are domesticated, wildlife, exotic and those used in factory farming.
