Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold
We have been helping those facing hardships for over 105 years within St. Catharines and 40 in Thorold. On average, nearly 6,000 community members rely on our Food Security Program every month - this is an increase of 410% over the past 5 years.
In 2024, there was a 15% increase in clients utilizing our services including food, clothing & household goods, housing supports and services, and special programs like back to school and Christmas. At present, we distribute an average of 8,000lbs of food daily.
