The Community Foundation brings community builders together to create meaningful and lasting change in the City and County of Peterborough. We work with donors and charitable organizations to invest in the people, ideas and activities that build community vitality. Building sustainable community assets through philanthropy, we take a long-term view of our community, and have the staying power needed to address complex issues.

The Community Foundation is a public foundation and a registered charity.

By making a one-time or monthly donation to an established fund, your gift will help build a community asset that can respond to challenges and opportunities facing our community today and for years to come. You can direct your gift to your area of interest, and because all gifts are pooled, every donation, no matter the size, has lasting impact.

If you are making a donation to a specific Fund online, please select Donate Now and choose the established fund you would like to donate to. If you do not see a Fund listed, please make a general donation and include a message with your donation so staff can fulfill your wishes. You can also contact our office before making a donation to make sure your donation gets to the right place.

If you would prefer to make a donation by cheque, please make it payable to the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough and indicate the Fund name in the Memo field.
