About Community Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador
The Community Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador (CFNL) sustains and promotes healthy communities province-wide by providing grant funding to a wide range of community organizations, supporting everything from health care and education to social services, the arts, and the environment -- everything a community needs to flourish.
CFNL is one of more than 180 community foundations in Canada that have collectively contributed $154 million in grants to community organizations. CFNL was founded in 2001 and now holds more than $800,000 in endowed assets, administers more than 20 funds, and has given out more than 120 grants totaling over $200,000.
