About COMMUNITY LEGAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES FOR SASKATOON INNER CITY INC. (CLASSIC)
We are a non-profit organization providing legal services to historically disadvantaged, low income persons. Assistance is provided by law students from the University of Saskatchewan under direct supervision of a staff lawyer. Through the Walk-in Advocacy Clinic we provide legal services to eligible persons in the areas of landlord/tenant disputes; tribunal appeals such as SGI, CPP, WCB, EI, etc.; Small Claims matters; and more, where people would otherwise be unrepresented. Through the Legal Advice Clinic, pro bono lawyers provide advice and guidance during free, half hour sessions with clients.
