Community Links is a provincial non-profit and registered charity that promotes healthy, age friendly communities and quality of life for older Nova Scotia. Through our e-bulletins, social media, Aging Well Calendar and other communications, we share knowledge about issues, programs and services that affect older adults in Nova Scotia. We use a community development model, partnering with groups in the community to build leadership and resources that lead to more age friendly communities.
Community Links played a leading role in promoting public awareness around fall prevention through our provincial programs and our 8 Aging Well Together Coalitions. Our strategic goals encompass many other issues affecting seniors, including transportation, housing, isolation, mental wellness and active living.
