Our Mission

Since 1962, Community Living Port Colborne~Wainfleet has provided programs and services for individuals who have been identified with having an intellectual disability, ensuring them the opportunity to live active lives in the community. Our vision is ‘A Community Where Everyone Belongs”. Our services include a range of adult programs as well as Children and Youth programs. We welcome children and youth with and without disabilities to our programs to insure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in activities that are inclusive and ‘where everyone belongs’.

It is important to note that our organization does not receive government funding to provide children and youth programs. All programs and activities are funded by a variety of grants and individual donations. Without the support of a generous community we are unable to provide child and youth programs and activities.

We offer a variety of supports and programs including Residential Programs, Host Family Programs, Community Supports, Day Programs for adults, children's day camps, recreation and social programs, children and youth recreation programs, leisure activities as well as healthy lifestyle programs for adults, children and their families.

Our mission is to enable and support people to achieve their desired quality of life in partnership with an inclusive community. The primary individuals we support are people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
