At Compassion House, our mission is to support women who must travel to Edmonton for cancer treatment, by providing supportive care, affordable accommodations, and wellness activities. In this House, no one faces cancer alone.

When guests travel to stay with us, we give them a home-away-from-home during their treatment. A place they can find support, and not have to worry about cost or transportation, where they can focus on what is most important - healing. We provide necessities like linens and supplies; wellness activities like yoga and meditation or crafts and game nights; convenience with a shuttle van to take them to appointments and on errands; and peace of mind with 24/7 staff and security systems.

We give them a place of comfort, connection, and community. We offer them a private room where they can find comfort to rest, heal, and recover following each round of treatment. We offer communal gathering spaces where they can find connection with others facing the same journey. We offer them a community and a network of support during and following their stay when they return home.
