Contact House Community Food Bank (CHCFB) is a totally volunteer-driven organization located in Forest, Ontario. CHCFB operates within a larger food bank registration system within Northern Lambton County, allowing the client access to CHCFB every 21 days. Supplying enough food to meet a family’s needs for 3-4 days. We rely solely on the generosity of the community, service clubs, farm groups, and associations to supply either funds or products. Funds received are used to purchase nutritious foods such as vegetables, fruit, milk, eggs, and sources of protein. The monies received help offset the purchase of canned goods, cereals, soups, and other canned products that need to be replenished. We do not currently access or receive funding from any government agency to fund our yearly expenses.
