Cook's School Day Care Inc is committed to helping the Cobourg community by providing affordable and flexible early learning and child care for working families. Subsidized care is available through the County of Northumberland for families who qualify. We meet, and often exceed, all Ministry of Education and County of Northumberland regulations and licensing requirements.  Our caregivers and educators are dedicated professionals.  Many of our educators are Registered Early Childhood Educators.

Our not-for-profit organization has been striving to become fully accessible for the families of our community who choose our service.  Cook's School Day Care Inc is fortunate to have received County of Northumberland (grants & loan) and the Government of Canada (grant) to help offset some of the costly work completed (examples: automated doors, elevator, and barrier-free washroom facilities).  Ever-increasing operational costs, which include repayment of the County of Northumberland loan, are a strain on the budget.  The significant source of revenue for Cook's is fees for service paid by the families.  Enhancements to the children's programs and experiences can only be considered when Cook's can manage the purchases.  

Your donation to Cook's will directly enrich the children's environment, whether it be a new water table for the children to decanter water with cups, or new program materials such as paints or play-dough. Even $5 can contribute to the delight of our toddlers and preschoolers when a new toy or activity is made available.
