Our Mission

Cornerstone Landing Youth Services is a community based, non-profit, charitable organization, that works toward the prevention of youth homelessness in rural Lanark County by raising public awareness of the issue and providing direct support for young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. 

About Cornerstone Landing

The board of Cornerstone Landing are a committed group of volunteers from various walks of life, dedicated to providing assistance to homeless and at risk youth in Lanark County. This group came together in 2010 and has worked diligently to build an organization that best meets the needs of young people across the County. We have formed strong community partnerships to help ensure success for our clients and ultimately to reduce and end youth homelessness. 

We provide a continuum of care required by homeless or at risk young people age 16-24.

We provide clients with information about and referrals to community resources such as food banks, financial assistance, mental health supports etc.

We provide for basic needs such as food and clothing, through the provision of gift cards.

We provide hygiene supplies through donations from the community.

We help youth register in school and attend training programs. 

We assist youth with finding and securing housing. We provide rent supplements to assist with the cost of rent if necessary and when funds are available. 

We help youth secure financial assistance and employment. 

We own and operate our own housing program (new December, 2020).
