Cornerstone Landing, a community based, non-profit charitable organization, is committed to the following:
To provide an emergency residence for women, men, youth and families with children experiencing homelessness;
To provide the beginning of the continuum of care required by homeless persons;
To provide an emergency residence in a non-judgemental, supportive environment;
To provide for basic needs and share information about community resources to help those in jeopardy establish a more stable and secure life;
To maintain a leadership role within the community to address current issues surrounding at-risk individuals and families, in a proactive, results oriented manner;
To refer clients to services and organizations already in existence in Lanark County, as well as services in Ottawa and Kingston, with an emphasis on developing new programs to fit the ever changing needs of the people we serve.
About Cornerstone Landing
The board of Cornerstone Landing are a committed group of individuals from various walks of life, dedicated to to providing assistance to homeless and at risk youth in Lanark County. This group came together about five years ago and has worked diligently to form this registered charity, Cornerstone Landing. We have formed strong community partnerships to hep insure success for our clients.
