The Lincoln Museum & Cultural Centre is more than a museum—it is home to one of Lincoln's most treasured historic buildings. For over 150 years, the stone Schoolhouse has stood as a place of learning, gathering, and community, connecting generations to the stories that shaped our region.
Today, that history is at risk.
Time and the elements have taken their toll on the Schoolhouse's original stone masonry. Deteriorating mortar and shifting stones threaten the long-term stability of this irreplaceable heritage building. Without significant conservation work, damage will continue, placing one of Lincoln's most important landmarks at risk.
Through our Stone by Stone Campaign, we are raising funds to carefully restore and preserve the Schoolhouse using traditional heritage conservation techniques. Every gift helps repair historic stonework, protect the building from further deterioration, and ensure it remains a vibrant place for education, community programs, and visitors for generations to come.
Please consider supporting this campaign by donating to the "Historic Buildings" Fund.
