The Cortes Community Health Association offers medical health and related support services on Cortes Island as well as programs to support physical and mental health in the community.
CCHA Augmented Home Support is for post-op patients and elders who need a little help to age at home on Cortes Island.
CCHA Family Support program fosters wellness, connection and resiliency among island families by providing direct support to vulnerable families and those experiencing temporary hardship; and connects all islanders with a broad variety of resources as needed.
CCHA Youth Programs provides weekly, after-school, drop in programs for youth ages 5 to 17. Our recreational programs are free of charge, provide a healthy snack and are highly valued.
The existence of the CCHA, the clinic and these programs is the result of decades of hard work by caring individuals, volunteers and health professionals to meet the health needs of this tiny, remote community.
