Creative Options Regina (COR) is a for impact, charitable organization that provides support to youth and adults experiencing intellectual disability and mental health struggles.

Founded in 2009, COR was established to support the diverse needs of one individual who, for years, was disenfranchised from family and community. Beaten and bruised through self-injurious actions, and heartbroken from lack of compassion and community, COR created a home based on the principles of Gentle Teaching. Now, over a decade later, we have become one of Saskatchewan’s largest service providers in the disability services sector with a broad range of programs and services supporting youth, adults and families that desire a personalized, compassionate approach to care.

What makes COR stand out is that we intend for to leave people feeling more dignified than they did prior to encountering us. Everyone from the support workers to the leadership team to the board of directors makes a conscious choice to engage with people in a meaningful way. COR supports people, not clients. We facilitate rather than dictate. We enlist companions, not employees. We focus on strengths, not deficits. We customize homes, support, employment and learning opportunities for our community. It is important to us that everyone experiences a true sense of belonging.
