The Friends of Island Lake, with significant support from the Orangeville Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Orangeville, are proud to connect more kids with nature by supporting the construction of a 1.17-acre Nature Inspired Playground at Island Lake Conservation Area.
PLAYGROUND FEATURES INCLUDE: Nature's toys such as plants,water, logs, rocks and more; a climbing wall; outdoor musical instruments; hill slides; Indigenous design elements developed in consultation with the Credit River Metis Council; a loop trail maintained for skating and skiing during winter months...and more!
