Incorporated in 1988, Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington (CSGW) is a non-profit charitable organization which combines the best efforts of the media, the community, and the police in the fight against crime. A group of civilian volunteers make up the CSGW Board of Directors who are responsible for managing the program.
Our goal is to promote awareness within the community and continue to educate our students and the public in making our community safer.
CSGW offers individuals a way to report criminal activity and remain anonymous. Cash rewards are paid out to Tipsters if their information is used by the investigative agency in a successful outcome.
Funding to support the program is raised though donations from private citizens, organizations, local businesses, and through fundraising activities.
If not for the efforts of CSGW and our reward incentives, some of these crimes would go unsolved!
