The Crohn’s and colitis community is strong and resilient. In good times and in trying times, we come together to support each other, lift each other up and help each other whenever we need it.
We are doing our very best to support you and your loved ones through the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
To help keep you safe, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada has formed an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) COVID-19 task force made up of world renowned IBD specialists; infectious diseases, public health and mental health experts; and patients to make recommendations to safeguard the health of our community and we are providing new online resources and expanded tools, such as educational events and weekly webinars with IBD experts to answer your questions.
Most of our funding comes from events like our Gutsy Walk and other in-person events, which we have had to postpone or cancel for the safety of our community. Without these events, our revenue has not kept up with our funding needs for critical programs, services and research.
Our community is relying on these programs and services, now more than ever, during these tough times, which is why, if you are able, we are urgently asking for your support today—especially because if you donate your gift will have double the impact—up to a total of $200,000—thanks to an anonymous donor.
With this matching gift opportunity, a gift of $25 will double in impact to $50, $50 doubles to $100 and $100 doubles to $200—enabling us to maximize every dollar given to help one another through the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
Once again, thank you for helping our Crohn’s and colitis family during these unprecedented times.
We are deeply grateful for your support and will continue to provide you with the latest information as it becomes available and expanded tools and resources to help keep you and your family safe and well.
