Cumberland Trails Association promotes Multi-Use Motorized shared as well as footpaths in Cumberland County Nova Scotia. Our primary mandate is to maintain 58 kms of rails to trails linking the coastal villages of Pugwash and Wallace to the Trans Canada Trail in the Shortline Section between Oxford and the Wallace Grant Road in Cumberland. Our secondary mandate is to support the Fundy Geopark by gaining land permissions and upgrading trailheads, signage and trails to five -family friendly waterfalls. We currently host 4 major trailheads and are currently looking to add two more. We work closely with the Friends of the Pugwash Estuary and the Cobequid Eco trails society to ensure our trails are environmentally sound and add sustainability value to our rural coastal communities.
