Our Mission
The DaCapo Chamber Choir is dedicated to performing the outstanding choral chamber works of the past 100 years and to champion music of Canadian and local composers.
About DACAPO CHAMBER CHOIR INC.
Founded in 1998, the DaCapo Chamber Choir performs three annual concerts in Kitchener-Waterloo: once in the fall around Remembrance Day, a mid-winter, and a spring concert. In addition, the choir performs on an ad hoc basis at other events. The choir has recorded 2 CDs - Still and the award-winning ShadowLand. DaCapo's NewWorks national choral composition competition fosters new and engaging choral works by Canadian composers and brings national attention to the Kitchener-Waterloo region, while the Young Composers Reading Session supports the work of young & emerging composers.
