As I celebrate my birthday, I’m excited to invite you to join me in a special fundraiser for Dani’s Place Residential (DPRS), an initiative that’s incredibly close to my heart. Over the past six years, my journey with DANI has been deeply rewarding, and I want to share that journey with you.

DPRS stands out as a leader in providing accessible housing for adults with developmental disabilities, setting a new standard in supportive living. Unlike traditional group homes, DPRS uses an innovative house parent model that ensures personalized care and constant support within a vibrant, community-integrated environment. This model not only keeps operational costs lower but also enhances the quality of life for residents by fostering a strong sense of belonging and independence.

DPRS is ready to open its doors this September, and the inaugural home will provide a dynamic living space tailored to individual needs, featuring private suites and state-of-the-art communal facilities. This approach addresses gaps in existing residential services by creating an inclusive, empowering environment where residents can thrive both socially and personally.

My connection with DANI began by supporting their social enterprises, knowing the proceeds went to a great cause. From there, my involvement grew as I helped secure the property for this community home. This experience inspired me to join DPRS’s board, and now I’m committed to supporting them as they redefine what supportive housing can be.
