About David Thompson Bible Camp
DTBC was started in 1961, under the Canadian Sunday School Mission (CSSM), with the purpose of sharing the gospel message with children of all ages and to give them a good time. We began with 61 campers and today we have nearly 400 campers a summer.
DTBC is a year-round facility with 12 cabins, an office/canteen building, a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen, a large chapel building, a heated washroom building and the Corney Banman Craft Shed. There is also staff housing and a first aid room. Sport facilities include an asphalt basketball pad with adjustable nets, a waterslide, canoes in the creek and an great archery range.
The facilities are available for renting to any groups that are interested during the off-season.
DTBC runs 11 camps during the Summer and Teen Retreats in the Fall, the Winter and Spring. They offer both on-site camps as well as a three Trail Ride Camps for teens. The camp is available for rent and catering as well.
