Our Mission
The aim of Desert Streams Healing Ministries is to work with God to bring healing to all who seek it. This ministry desires to see God’s healing come to the whole person—heart, spirit, soul and body. The basis for this healing ministry is the person and work of Jesus Christ. All facets of this ministry rely upon the Bible, prayer and the guidance and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Within the context of healing, this ministry seeks to help people be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, find deliverance from spiritual darkness, become mature disciples of Jesus Christ, be trained in Christian ministry and service, particularly in relation to healing.
About DESERT STREAMS HEALING MINISTRIES
Desert Streams Healing Ministries is a Christian ministry established at the start of 2005 by Harry and Myrna Lynn Lindenberg. The ministry is not affiliated with a particular church or denomination, but is interested to serve people and churches from all streams of the Church and also people who are not affiliated with the Church at all.
The Lindenbergs are not professionals in any health-care related field, but have worked in full-time Christian ministry since 1990, and have obtained the equivalent of several years worth of in-class instruction and training from an international, Christian healing ministry that has been operating since 1986 (i.e. Ellel Ministries— www.ellelministries.org ). The Lindenbergs have a ministry team working with them. They also have a board of directors to whom they are accountable.
Desert Streams is not a counseling ministry, but rather a prayer ministry.
