Didsbury and District Historical Society operating as The Didsbury Museum in Didsbury, Alberta commissioned an assessment by Ravenstone Masonry Conservation Inc of the exterior brick and stone envelope of this 1907 built Provincial Historic Resource.  The assessment has revealed several issues with brick and mortar deterioration as well as numerous signs of early failing in the sandstone of the sills, lintels and decorative elements.  Ravenstone has suggested that restoration can be completed in stages as there is no immediate danger of building failure.  The full scope of restoration will be reviewed as funding for phases can be completed through donations and approved matching grants.
