From earthquakes to typhoons, the Philippines continues to be struck by devastating destruction, the most recent earthquake just today, Northwest of Basco. Homes have been reduced to rubble, families torn apart, and thousands are now desperate for aid. At least 70 lives have been lost, and many more people remain injured or missing.
Countless families are now sleeping in the open, huddled together as aftershocks continue to shake what’s left of their world.
Clean water — the most basic human need — is now dangerously scarce. With water systems shattered and power lines down, entire communities face the growing threat of deadly disease.
