About DISTRICT 69 SOCIETY OF ORGANIZED SERVICES: In 1968, a group of concerned citizens saw needs being unmet in this community and formed the Society of Organized Services. SOS is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization meeting the needs and improving the lives of local residents. SOS offers programs and services for all ages in District 69, from Emergency Assistance and Advocacy for things like food and medicine, to programs that provide a place for connection and social interaction, like the Family Night program.
