Our Mission
Dr Clown Foundation's mission is to contribute to improving the quality of life of hospital patients through its therapeutic clown programs that combine complicity, playfulness and imagination. Dr Clown aims to integrate therapeutic clowns into the treatment plans of Canadian health care facilities. The therapeutic clowns work with two different clienteles: DR CLOWN for children in paediatric hospitals and in specialized centers (rehabilitation and palliative care) via its Dr Clown programs, and LA BELLE VISITE, for seniors who are no longer independent and living in residence or long-term care facilities (CHSLD).
More than fifty health care centres enjoy the personalised services of Dr Clown Foundation which has also received official approval from the Collège des médecins du Québec and l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
