Our Mission
To provide a safe, supportive alternative to homelessness for Men ages 25+ and youth ages 16-24. We achieve this by providing individualized services in the form of shelter, food, resources in partnership with our community, while advocating for all men and youth as they strive toward a brighter future.
About CHOICES SHELTER AND SUPPORT SERVICES
Choices provides shelter and housing support services to Men and youth in the Dufferin Community. We have 2 separate shelters (one for men and one for youth) and there are 38 beds across these sites. Individuals who require shelter supports will receive access to shelter, healthy meals, hot showers and laundry facilities. Additionally, we offer services and supports to equip people to learn the essential skills needed to secure and maintain housing in their future. Housing supports, employment supports, addictions counselling, daily living and life skills groups, and connections to community supports are also offered. Once housed, our Housing Support Workers can continue to provide support for up to a year to ensure housing is maintained and is successful.
