No matter where you live, you are bound to come across individuals with Down syndrome.  And it's a good thing too!  Many have language delays, but they sure are loving, kind, empathetic, caring and fun to be around!  Imagine a world where they were able to express themselves well AND fill us with love, empathy, care and fun!!  How great would that world be!  

We are appealing to you to help fundraise for our members with Down syndrome to have greater access to speech and language therapy.  What better time than during the lead up to World Down Syndrome Day.  Speech care is expensive as it can cost upwards of $200/ session.  To add to this expense, these sessions can go on for many, many years, and in some instances, for decades.  It's quite a strain on families. 

Whether it be a child of 3 or an adult of 53, with speech and language therapy, our members can only be a greater asset to our community.  Would it not be wonderful to witness?
