Rebuild Eagles Nest Ranch

Eagles Nest Ranch (ENR) facilities have been used by God to impact the lives of thousands of children since 1984. Like many other wooden structures, ENR buildings are in need of restoration after 32 years of hosting summer camps, retreats, and private bookings. We are running a 6 month campaign trusting that ENR friends, alumni and all who have been impacted at the Ranch can give financially and help spread the word so that these urgent projects can be completed before Summer Camps 2017.

Previous ENR Challenges:

In 2011-2013, ENR faced multiple challenges including financial setbacks and unforeseen facility and equipment problems. Consequently, summer camps were put on hold, and the ENR Board made the decision to step back and reevaluate the situation with a season of Prayer and seeking God’s direction.

Rebuilding Season:

Over the past 18 months, a “new thing” began at the ranch. In the winter of 2015 new camp directors arrived on site; under the new leadership ENR was able to host summer camps, led by 25 full time staff. We also hosted over 30 YWAM mission builders from over 5 countries as well as numerous local individuals and professional contractors. These volunteers came to serve and help with projects such as removing old and broken furniture, new flooring and a new tin roof for Founders Hall, painting, cleaning cabins and grounds upkeep. The before and after results are astounding and we are grateful to God for sending people to serve the needs at the Ranch.

Would you prayerfully consider coming alongside ENR financially as we contend in faith to restore Eagles Nest Ranch facilities to continue serving its purpose of hosting camps, retreats, and providing a place for people to encounter God.

Urgent ENR Needs

Phase 1:

Truck (4x4, ¾ Tonne) - $20,000

We need a truck with 4x4 to pull our horse trailer and to transport our year-round grounds staff in and out of the ranch if the roads are icy.

Phase 2:

Town Hall - $100,000 - Front Upper Wall is in need of immediate attention

• Water leaks from the roof down into the front wall
• Front wall needs to be replaced
• Water damage on roof (Roof will be patched for this Winter)
• Our goal is replacing the entire roof in Spring 2017

Phase 3:

Walk In Freezer - $20,000 - Utilized for over 30 years

• Recent Inspection suggests that freezer has a short life span remaining
• Needs to be replaced ASAP, preferably before Summer Camps 2017

Phase 4:

Founder’s Hall - $80,000

Due to water damage we are looking to renovate the common room as well as convert the next door room into a kitchen. Also, the main floor hallway is in need of restoration, and would be redone to match the newly renovated upper wing.

Phase 5:

Seacans - $10,000

We need storage space at the ranch, seacans can be be used as enclosed storage spaces.

Phase 6:

Small Cabins - $14,000 ($2,000 each)
