A recent study by the International Play Association identified that the most vulnerable children likely to be badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic were those in poor housing and homeless circumstances, and children with special educational needs and disabilities. As many as 80% of Eastview's children and youth fall into these categories.
To help these families feel prepared to return to a 'new normal' at school, we are trying to raise extra money to cover backpacks, school supplies and PPE items as they prepare to go back in September. Thank you so much for your support!
