For 28 years the École nationale de l’humour (ENH) or National Humour School, has fulfilled the mandate of providing professional training to creators who wish to specialize in the field of humor, either as comedians and stand-ups, or as humour writers.

The school, ENH, which is solely responsible for generating 65% of its operating budget, has carried out philanthropic activity since its founding in 1988. Registered with Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable organization, ENH has the capability of issuing income tax receipts for charitable donations. The institution relies on a network of donors made up of private companies, individuals and private foundations. ENH organizes fundraising events on an annual basis.
