We're a group of dedicated people who work with youth, communities, and government to promote sound environmental decision making. We teach youth about the earth, climate change, where their food comes from, and how to keep their water clean. Last year we directly reached over 1300 children, this year we want to reach 2000. We also do research, manage waste reduction projects, protect species at risk, and we raise the profile of environmental science and traditional knowledge.
Over the years we've worked on a dizzying array of projects and built great relationships with Funders and like minded organizations in the North and accross Canada. We're stronger than we've ever been and every donated dollar helps us to set our own agenda and take on the projects that we see as most important based on our years of work in the North.
We operate in one of the last pristine environments on earth where the negative effects of development and climate change are keenly felt. We're literally on thin ice up here, and we need your help.
