Uniting Evangelicals to Bless Canada in the Name of Jesus
The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC) is Canada’s national association of evangelical Christians. Since 1964, it has provided a national forum for Canada’s four million Evangelicals, fostered ministry partnerships, conducted research on religious and social trends and provided a constructive voice for biblical principles in life and society.
The EFC promotes an evangelical Christian understanding on matters of law and public policy. Through its Centre for Faith and Public Life in Ottawa, it intervenes before government and the courts on issues of concern to Evangelicals, seeking to uphold religious freedom, stable family structures, sanctity of human life, and the care and protection of the vulnerable – including the elderly, the disabled, the homeless, indigenous women, children of the state, our veterans, refugees, and victims of human trafficking. The EFC develops guiding principles for response to these issues in a manner that reflects our Christian citizenship.
