St. Marc United Church is a historic church in Ottawa. It is the main Protestant French-speaking church in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. St. Mark's United Church is attached to the United Church of Canada.
St-Marc church was founded in 1874 by a Presbyterian congregation. The building was built on the Lebreton plains. In 1962, the United St-Marc church moved due to the total redevelopment of the Lebreton plains. The church settled in downtown Ottawa at the crossroads of Elgin and Lewis streets near Minto Park.
Rich in its architecture and its remarkable works, it is important to ensure conservation by all the efforts required, if they are important, as much out of respect for our ancestors who raised this monument to the height of their hopes as for the benefit of future generations to whom we wish to cede it in turn.
We therefore request a donation from your party because your donations are essential to keep our church in good condition, which represents the heart, soul and pride of our municipality (National Heritage) and our multicultural diversity.
