Elizabeth's Wildlife Center offers a mutually beneficial solution for both animals and humans by providing a permanent and safe place for wildlife to be rehabilitated, while at the same time, educating the public. This is the only Wildlife Center in the Abbotsford area that provides this service not only to the local area, but to the greater region of the Fraser Valley and beyond. The purpose of the Center is to preserve wildlife, whose natural life cycle has been threatened by human interaction.

The Center operates solely on government funding and grants, and public donations. Due to the recent COVID crisis, valuable fund-raising campaigns have been cancelled and public donations are down. Without this critical funding, our ability to operate and provide this valuable rehabilitation service is severely threatened. Destruction of natural habitat and predators contribute to the number of wildlife received at the Center. Without the Center, which relies on donations, vulnerable wildlife would be severely impacted.
