We invite you to join us at this year's Hike for Hospice event in Fernie! We are excited to once again offer this event that promotes the importance of hospice care and grief support. The event is taking place on Sunday May 26th, 2024 from 9:30am-12:30pm at the Montane Trail System to help promote the importance of hospice care and raise much needed funds for end-of-life care and grief support for our community. Participants are encouraged to hike in honour or remembrance of a loved one who has passed or is currently battling a life-limiting illness.

Location: Montane Trail System - Meet at the Montane Parking Lot (of the Montane Parkway)
Hiking Trail: We will be hiking the scenic Montane Green - Easy Beaver Trail. Hikers can choose to take the longer hike to Montane Hut return (7km) or a shorter option (3.5km).
Following the hike, please join us for door prizes and a free BBQ lunch.
Registration is free and hikers are encouraged to make a pledge when you register and/or raise funds independently or as part of a team.
