Ellis Pioneer Chapel is a gem in southern Ontario. A provincially recognized historic site, this 1861 stone chapel was built by early pioneer settlers in Puslinch Township, just outside of Guelph, Ontario, and provides a beautiful, central location for weddings, christenings and special events from May through October.
The chapel is maintained and operated by an active group of volunteers dedicated to preserving its historic and religious significance, and hosts monthly ecumenical services during the summer. The chapel and surrounding gardens on its one-acre site are maintained from donations, rental revenue and special project appeals to the community.
