Our mission
L’École nationale d’apprentissage par la marionnette (The National School of Puppet Learning) (ÉNAM), has been in existence since 1990 and offers social integration services to the performing arts recognized by the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean University Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS). Through our alternative approach, we help adults living with mental health problems achieve a good life balance.
How?
The ENAM program "Puppets to Say It" promotes the use of puppetry to break the isolation. The ÉNAM directs its actions in order to favor and develop the autonomy and the power of action of the person.
The ENAMS also aims at the social integration of the participants by various means of expression and learning, rallying education, health, culture and many forms of art.
