Our mission is to improve socio-economic conditions for people of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities or expressions (SOGIE) by providing innovative education, support programs, and research. Our vision is to fully welcome and nurture SOGIE people into Canadian life so that they become contributing members of our society. The foundation hosts the Calgary LGBTQ+ Refugee Centre; Calgary LGBTQ+ Private Sponsorships, settling SOGIE refugees from outside Canada; and a variety of support groups, mentor, and educational services. We are dedicated to all people of any sexual orientation and gender identity (LGBTQ+ or SOGIE), whether they are longtime citizens, or new Canadian refugees, or immigrants. The donations related to refugee sponsorships will be distributed to refugees' basic needs, helping them to escape persecution.
