Epilepsy Ontario is sadden by the death of a beloved colleague and friend Dr. Mac Burnham.
Dr. Burnham has left a large intellectual and personal imprint on the world of epilepsy, and the many people he mentored, and with whom he collaborated. He has volunteered and served as President of Epilepsy Ontario and was responsible in creating policies that are still used today to benefit people living with epilepsy. For many years, he was intensely involved in epilepsy research, even directing several group epilepsy research programs. Dr. Burnham will be missed by all at Epilepsy Ontario.
