Tube Wells in Bangladesh

In many rural villages in Bangladesh, safe water is scarce and often unavailable to families. The upper layer of groundwater contains excessive iron and arsenic, which should not be used in homes. Safe water can only be accessed through hand pumps connected to deep bore wells. 

Alongside the Pentecostal Assemblies of Bangladesh, we install tube wells in villages so families, including ethnic minorities, single mothers and families who earn their living as day labourers, can have safe water to drink.

Household Water Filters in Honduras

In the capital city of Honduras, Tegucigalpa, water shortages are the norm. Families purchase drinking water from tanker trucks, but it is not clean. The children of families who rely on this water often suffer from illnesses and infections. That's why we're installing biosand water filters in homes. 

A biosand filter is a plastic container that filters out impurities using layers of sand and gravel. To date, we've installed over 800 household filters, and we're not slowing down. Your gift can bring health to a child living in Honduras and hope to a family!
