This December, Sandra and her daughter Kris are celebrating the holiday season in a home of their own — safe, together, and free from violence. And it’s all because of supporters like you.
Sandra’s abuser trafficked her, tearing her away from her young daughter, Kris. For months, Sandra was isolated from Kris and had no idea where she was or if she was safe. When Sandra arrived at Ernestine’s shelter doors after escaping her abuser, she had nothing but the clothes on her back and the hope that somehow she would be reunited with her little girl.
Your generosity made their reunion possible! Because of donors like you, Sandra received counselling, safety, and a dedicated team who brought her daughter back into her arms.
