About EUREKA SUPPORT SOCIETY
Eureka Support Society offers a multi-faceted resource centre for adults with a persistent mental illness. It provide a wide variety of recreational, social, educational and vocational activities on a daily basis according to the needs and interests of members. Members have free access to computers, clothing and telephone. Members also have access to an art/multi-purpose room, a television room, and a wood shop. All members are encouraged to become involved in the planning, development and implementation of all programs and activities.
Member responsibilities may include membership on the Board of Directors, employment as a Program Assistant, volunteer opportunities, assisting with fund raising and representing the organization at public presentations. All activities are provided in a welcoming environment where members are safe, secure and valued.
