Ezer Mizion's International Bone Marrow Registry collaborates with transplant centers around the globe by facilitating transplants for patients whose only chance of survival is a bone marrow transplant.

Since the establishment of Ezer Mizion's Bone Marrow Donor Registry in 1998, the Israel-based organization has handled thousands of search requests from dozens of transplant centers in 47 countries around the world. Ezer Mizion's Registry has, to date, over 13,500 complete donor-patient matches that have facilitated overt 3100 stem cell transplants, saving the lives of Jewish patients throughout the world.

With donors and recipients requiring genetic compatibility, it is very likely that a Jewish patient would find a stem-cell match only from another Jew. Today, thanks in large part to our partnership with the IDF, Ezer Mizion's Bone Marrow Donor Registry is the largest Jewish registry in the world with over 950,000 active donors registered. Our goal is to reach one million donors in the registry so that we will be able to provide a match for every Jewish patient in need of a stem cell transplant.
