Centenary Church
Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Parish is located east of Montreal on Lacordaire Street. It is framed by Dickson Street, Pierre-de-Coubertin Street and Boileau Street. It has about 4535 families. (2015)
The history of the parish demonstrates its importance at the religious and cultural level. Built in 1905 as a chapel, it also served as a school. In 1907 the chapel became officially parish;
After the fire that destroyed Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church in 1912, we saw the construction of the present presbytery, a large school for girls and a fire station in 1914. Inaugurated and blessed, the current church will be built and in 1925.
Since October 2017 the Bridge 'Le Pont' is installed on the floors of the presbytery.The Bridge 'Le Pont' is a charitable organization of the diocese of Montreal for the reception of refugees.In 2007, we celebrated the centenary of the parish which apart from the Bridge is working on charitable activities and other socio-economic projects: La Friperie
